THE 15th ANNUAL MAIN AVENUE ARTS FESTIVAL SPONSORS
The Durango Arts Center is pleased to present the 15th annual Durango Arts Festival. Once again the Main Stage will feature musical entertainment free to the public throughout the weekend. The Durango Herald and KSUT are the media sponsors again for this year´s festival. The Durango Arts Festival Guide will be distributed as an insert in the Durango Herald the week before the festival. KSUT Public Radio will broadcast announcements about festival activities as well as recordings and live in-studio performances by the Main Stage musicians during the weeks before the festival. The Steaming Bean has been distributing early morning coffee and Bagel Bakery bagels to our festival volunteers and artists for the last six years. Many local businesses, organizations and individuals support the Durango Arts Festival in many ways. Thank you to all our supporters.

This event depends upon volunteers as much as upon financial sponsorship. Volunteers commit their time and energy to work on very significant projects in the months preceding the festival. There will be over a hundred volunteers who work at the Durango Arts Festival to assure that the festival is a fun and welcoming environment for our visiting artists and community´s enjoyment.
If you are a night owl or early riser, we need your help with set-up the morning of the event, and we need folks to stay late on Sunday to help with clean-up. All volunteers are invited to the Friday, August 8th, 2008 artists´ welcome party, and if you fulfill a four-hour shift, you will receive a Durango Arts Festival t-shirt.
